Ingredients
¼cuplemon juiceabout one large lemon
1tablespoondijon mustardheaping
4teaspoonsmaple syrupor date syrup
Instructions
Juice the lemon and place the jar in a liquid measuring cup, jar, or small bowl.
Add the dijon mustard and maple syrup, then whisk until well combined.
Serve over salad, whole grains, beans, or anything you'd like!
Best served same day. Store any remaining in a sealed refrigerated container for up to three days.
Notes
If you find the flavor too strong, add a bit of filtered water to soften.Want it spicy? Add a dash or two of hot sauce.Any fresh herbs make a lovely addition.I don't find salt is needed due to the vibrancy of the mustard and lemon juice; you do you!
